I can not believe it, Henry had his first word yesterday! My parents and Mea's cat came over to carve pumpkins and while we were cleaning up Henry was watching the kitty play with pumpkin seeds and started to say "kkkitty!" We were all so surprised! He kept repeating it over and over and over. Obviously he pays attention to his sister. Of coarse once I got the camera he became distracted.
"Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me." Psalm 103:2

Making Memories
As a child I have outstanding memories of each holiday. My parents always went above and beyond to make them magical for me and my brothers. With it being Henry's first Halloween, it was so much fun to see his reaction to the pumpkin carving experience. Once again you have made another wonderful memory for me, we love you Nana and Bumpa!
Halloween fun with good friends!
For the past three years, Hank and I have enjoyed hosting a Halloween party for a group of our good friends and their children. Each year we enjoy doing it more and more! The age of the kids is becoming so fun, we were able to enjoy lots of Halloween activities. This year the kids even walked the trail hunt, unlike previous years riding in a wagon. We look forward to next year!

Boo at th Zoo!
We had such a great day with the kids Saturday, Lake Superior Zoo had it's annual Boo at the Zoo! The Zoo was full of Halloween decor, spooky exhibits, and lots trick or treating stops. How fun for a three year old to go trick or treating with animals! Mea kept telling us "This is the best Halloween party ever!" I have to agree!

A WILLINGNESS TO SUFFER
A marathon demands patience and and a willingness to stay and work
through it. You must be willing to suffer and keep suffering. On a good day, running seems to flow effortlessly. On a bad day, it's the pain that flows. I have to say, the pain was flowing on Saturday. I have done lots of races and with everyone I keep learning new lessons. I did not reach my goal, but strangely I am more proud of this race then many others (4:01). I have never experienced pain so early in a race. My legs began to cramp up at mile five, knowing you have 21 more miles to go is very intimidating. This race was 100% mental victory for me. I love the sport of running, even when it shows tough love to me!

"Winners Never Quit!"
It is finally here, it is Whistelstop weekend!!! I am so excited for myself and my dear friends participating in all of Saturdays races. The Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce has been doing an outstanding job, for the past 11 years the race has been growing and growing. This years there is almost 3,000 runners! I have been fortunate to participate in 8 of those 11 years.
This race is special to me, as was the first after the birth of Mea. The feeling of completing a marathon after childbirth is euphoric. Knowing I can still train, be a mother and take on this 26.2 monster is an indescribable feeling. I am so grateful of my supportive husband, for helping me achieve my goals. My heart skips a beat every time I see you cheering me on. I love you Hank!!! Thank you to my dear friends and family, I love how after so many years you still always make time in your busy lives to cheer me on at races!!!
Go get em Sarah Moravchik!! Race with the heart and drive you put into everything in life!
You can do it Jen Miller!! Always stay positive and you will achieve your goals!
With everything you do in life remember this "Winners NEVER Quit!"

Thank you Brodie!
Our family computer has been down for over a week. During this very busy time in the Dugger family, (moving, and remodeling) Brodie took time away to get things back on track. Thank you Brodie!
Apples, Apples and more Apples!
