Carving Up Some Fun

Every year as far back as I can remember my parents grow an amazing pumpkin patch. I have so many memories carving pumpkins with my family. I love that Mea and Henry will have great memories too!

Henry is so in love with you Bumpa!

Mea, you are so patient! She worked on her pumpkin for nearly two hours!

All Boy!

Mea carved this kitty pumpkin all her self! You are such an artist Mea!

There sure are a lot of cat pumpkins!

Our Fall Tradition

Every year we look forward to an afternoon with the Moravchik's at our local corn maze! We sure love this tradition!

The girls always take off running!
Henry enjoyed exploring too!

All four kiddos got pretty excited when they found a scarecrow!

I am so proud of the girls! This was the first year they found all 6 scarecrows!

Apple cider sure hits the spot after all that exploring!

Mea's Favorite Part Of The Corn Maze!

Whistle Stop Weekend

I don't know when I made the transformation from running as a sport to running as part of my life. This year I ran the Half Marathon and I have to say, I am enjoying the difference of the race. A full Marathon is physically and mentally draining. There is no mental in a half. It is a about speed!
When I run, my mind and body fuse together, creating an energy source that absolutely empowers me!

At the end of this running high nothing beats just being a mom having a picnic with your kids.

My time was 1:38.06 (7:30 min mile)
I have been the top female finisher for Ashland and Bayfield County in both half and full marathons now!
